Obituary for Mary Louise Powell Davidson
Mary Louise Powell Davidson, 86, of Meridian, passed away on September 26, 2018 at her residence.
She was born on November 8, 1931 to Clovis and Winnie (Robinson) Powell in Meridian, MS.
Louise is survived by her son, Malcolm (Clarece) Davidson, Jr.; daughter, JoAnn Davidson (Johnny) Carlee; brother, Dennis (Imelda) Powell; grandchildren, Dawn Moore, Jason (Candy) Davidson, Miranda (Chad) Davidson, Angela Fluker, Kevin (Rachel) Sanderford, Shawn (Lisa) Gainey, and Jason Gainey; 10 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm Davidson, Sr.; grandson, Justin Keith Davidson; parents, Clovis and Winnie Powell and Brother, Clovis Powell, Jr.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 28, 2018, 5:00 pm at Wright’s Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018, 11:00 am at the Wright’s Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Todd Tilghman officiating.
Burial will take place in the New Bethel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jason Davidson, Kevin Sanderford, Peyton Davidson, Jason Gainey, Shawn Gainey and Larry Dearman. Honorary Pallbearer will be Chad Allen.
