GREG MANGUM MAKES DONATION –
Modern Woodmen of America Chapter 16026 awarded Alderman Ricky
Carpenter as a Hometown Hero for 2019 tonight at the Stonewall Board of
Aldermen Meeting. Ricky has volunteered with the Stonewall Volunteer
Fire Department for over 40 years. He’s also served as a Stonewall
Alderman for over 20 years. He’s recognized for being a public servant
always willing to go above and beyond to
put others above himself. Mr. Carpenter is given a certificate of
recognition and also $100 to donate to a charity of his choice. Pictured
presenting the award certificate to Ricky Carpenter is Modern Woodmen
of America local agent and fellow Stonewall Alderman, Greg Mangum.
Modern Woodmen of America is a fraternal benefit society that began in
1883. They are known for providing life insurance, retirement planning,
and other insurance products as well as giving back and making an impact
