The Veteran’s Memorial Highway Dedication
“The Veterans’ Memorial Highway.” Ceremony was held July 22, 2019, at the Clarke County Multi-Purpose Center in Quitman. Program participants included Commander Jonathan Kufel, Clarke County VFW, welcome; Honorable Tom King, Southern Transportation Commissioner, MS Transportation Commission, Master of Ceremonies, remarks; MDOT Law Enforcement Honor Guard, Presentation of Colors; Ronald Holloway, Quartermaster-Clarke County VFW, Pledge of Allegiance; Allen Gibson, Clarke County VFW Chaplain, invocation and benediction; Brenda Kufel, National Anthem; and Honorable William Shirley, MS House of Representatives, and Honorable Mac Huddleston, MS House of Representatives, remarks. Thanks to all who made this happen! But most of all, thanks to all Veterans for their service to our great Nation!
