BOZEMAN NAMED PUBLISHER OF THE TRIBUNE
CCHT would like to Congratulate Jennifer Bozeman on her promotion at the Clarke County Tribune Office.
The Clarke County Tribune would like to announce that long-time employee, Jennifer Bozeman, has been named publisher. Bozeman has served at the Tribune for 26 years and knows her community well.
“I love my community,” said Bozeman. “I love the people and enjoy talking to my customers. I’ve met many people that have stepped foot through our door and I look forward to greeting many more.”
Bozeman began at the Tribune just out of high school under the direction of the former owners, Jim and Mary Speed, and has worked under Emmerich Newspapers since 2000.
Jennifer graduated from Quitman High School with honors in 1992 and Meridian Community College in 1994 with High Honors with an AA Degree in Business and Office. She then furthered her education at the University of Southern Miss where she graduated in 1998 with a Bachelors in Photojournalism.
She has much experience in the newspaper business working with the Tribune, The Times of Hattiesburg, Laurel Leader-Call, and The News Commercial of Collins.
“I love the news business. It’s where my heart is at and I look forward to serving this community through the newspaper,” added Bozeman.
Jennifer is the daughter of Kathy Hunter and Steve Perry of Quitman. She has two children, Jordan and Reid Bozeman. She is a charter member and secretary of the Clarke County Lions Club, and former Charter Representative of the Cub Scouts Pack 35. She is also president and a founding member of the Creature Comforts Animal Shelter in Quitman.
