***PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT***

ENTERPRISE – Chief Bradley McNeece tells CCHT that there will be an “Active Shooter Training Drill” held at Enterprise Middle School on Friday, July 29th from 8:am to 12:pm.

Training is being hosted by the Clarke County Sheriff’s Department, Enterprise Police Department and Department of Homeland Security.

This is being announced in advance, so that there is no need for concern or alarm when people see all the activity around the middle school.

This active incident exercise is being done at facilities all across the state to better serve, train and prepare all agencies involved for what to do during the event of an actual emergency.

Again, this will be a “Training Drill” only and Chief McNeece says there is no need to be alarmed.
