Feb. 12th, 2025 – Highway 512 accident injures one.
Emergency Officials responded overnight to a one-car accident where the vehicle left 512 and struck and demolished a power pole on Highway 512 near Highway 18.
Crews are still on the scene making repairs to the pole.

Officials tell CCHT the driver was ejected from the vehicle and was said to be in serious condition.
The scene took several hours to clear due to having to replace, reset and re-wire the entire pole.
The accident occurred just before Highway 18 West.
State Troopers with the Mississippi Highway Patrol are investigating the cause of the crash.
