Emergency Officials just completed working a one vehicle accident on Highway 513 at the intersection of County Road 1511 just north of Quitman.
Highway 513 was blocked for approx 20 minutes while firefighters tended to getting the two occupants out of the vehicle.
Officials say the vehicle went to turn onto County Road 1511 and slid off into a deep culvert which in return the driver and passenger was stranded due to the position of the vehicle.
Clarke County Sheriff Deputies, State Troopers with the Mississippi Highway Patrol and Quitman, Rolling Creek and Stonewall Fire Departments responded to the scene to assist the individuals.
Paratech EMS also responded, however, no medical transport was needed.
