Yesterday, Tuesday, January 15th, the Mississippi House of Representatives passed HB 366 ” Mississippi Broadband Enabling Act”. This bill will allow our power companies to offer rural broadband to there customers. As a co-sponsor of this bill, it is a pleasure to fight for our rural residents and if the power companies choose to offer this service it will make Mississippi a better place to live and could enable more people to work from home.
