Sheriff Kemp Announces Candidacy

Since 1988 I have served the citizens of this county as deputy, chief deputy, and sheriff. The people of Clarke County have been good to my family and I throughout the years and with much thought and prayer I have decided to run for re-election for sheriff of Clarke County. Kathy and I humbly ask for your vote and support in the November general election. I have assembled a fine team of deputies that care about the county and people they serve. Over the years we’ve implemented numerous programs that benefit our people. We have a good relationship with our neighboring counties and we all work well together. I am also pleased to announce that we will be assigning a school resource officer to the Enterprise School District. Now both districts within the county will have a certified deputy assigned to them. We want to continue to serve Clarke County with respect while always keeping the best interest of its people in mind.

Thanks for your support
