One Transported After Hwy 513 Accident
ROLLING CREEK – One person was transported by Paratech EMS to a Meridian Hospital for injury evaluation after crashing their black Ford Mustang into an embankment on Highway 513 near County Road 160 (Williams Road) in the Rolling Creek Community.
Deputy Sheriff Anthony Chancelor tells CCHT that Clarke County Emergency Management Director Eddie Ivy came up on the scene as he was headed north bound on Highway 513 and called the accident in. Chancelor says the Clarke County Sheriff’s Office is handling the investigation at this time for the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
Quitman and Stonewall Fire & Rescue was called to the scene for possible extrication equipment but was cancelled while enroute.
No names will be released out of respect for all parties involved.
The driver is said not to have life-threatening injuries and should make a full recovery
