Goat on the Run
Yes, everything is okay, there’s just a large goat on the loose in Quitman. Several Officers along with the Clarke County Animal Clinic has been trying to catch the goat who keeps running from everyone who gets close to it.
At one point Deputies could be seen in a foot chase on surface streets….. until the goat made an abrupt right-hand turn into the woods near Dogwood Ave and Mullet Street.
The search continues…. so far it’s turning into a mere goat roping!
