Shots Fired in Stonewall
STONEWALL – Officers from Stonewall Police Department and Clarke County Sheriff’s Deputies have responded to a call of multiple shots fired near the intersection of Erwin Road and River Road in the Town of Stonewall.
Officers are still currently investigating the shooting which took place into an occupied dwelling where one suspect is now in police in custody and being transported to the Clarke County Jail.
Stonewall Police Chief Mike Street tells CCHT that no injuries are being reported from the shooting incident and Officers are still investigating what lead to multiple shots being fired at the residence.
Witnesses tell CCHT the home where the incident occurred is located in the 100 block of River Road.
