ARREST MADE IN MERIDIAN SHOOTING
***BREAKING NEWS***Clarke County Sheriff Todd Kemp along with Choctaw and Clarke County Investigators have just captured wanted suspect from a shooting that occurred in Meridian this afternoon. According to officials the shooting took place on B Street in Meridian where the suspect fled from the area in a white Chevy Cruz. The suspect vehicle was then reported being seen in the Snell Community of Clarke County and then again off Highway 18 East passing the old Fleming’s Grocery location. Choctaw County along with Sheriff Todd Kemp located the vehicle approx. 2 miles from Carney’s Store just into Choctaw County, Alabama. Two suspects have been taken into custody without incident along with the recovered sawed-off shotgun used in the shooting found inside the vehicle.
