QUITMAN FAMILY LOSES EVERYTHING IN HOUSE FIRE

QUITMAN FAMILY LOSES EVERYTHING IN HOUSE FIRE – Multiple firefighters were called to the scene of a structure fire on Moorewood Lane just off Highway 145 Wednesday morning after a reported fire in the home. Upon arrival there was heavy smoke billowing from the home. After firefighters made entry the fire rapidly grew larger and became more intense causing firefighters to back out and battle the blaze from the outside. All occupants made it out safe but their home was a complete loss. Being this close to Christmas, we’d like to ask the public who are willing to donate items to stop by Fantasy Cottage and speak with Hunter. There are 4 kids: Clothing – Girls are Adult Medium and boys are Adult X-Large shirts and Large pants or 32/32 pants. The mother (Brandy Allen) is only worried about the kids at the moment. Other adult clothing items needed are: 10 Mens 8 1/2 Ladies and 9 Ladies. You may also donate monetary items (money / gift cards) at Fantasy Cottage also. We ask the community to come together and help out this family during this difficult time. Your prayers and donations are greatly appreciated. Quitman, East Quitman, Desoto and Pachuta Fire Departments responded to the structure fire along with Clarke County EMA, Clarke County Deputies and Paratech Ambulance. We will post more information as soon as it’s released from Officials and/or the Family involved.
