The Clarke County Board of Supervisors presented a Resolution to Mr. Thomas during this morning’s monthly board meeting to Commemorate his Retirement.
Mr. Thomas has proudly served the Clarke County Road Department for the past 26 years working as a patch truck operator; A job that can be very demanding, dusty and dirty. A job described as very hot in the sweltering and blistering summer time and yet kept a smile on his face each and every day.
Mr. Thomas sets the example for being dedicated and is the true meaning of hard work.
Today, the Clarke County Board of Supervisors recognized him; CCHT would like to give Mr. Walter Thomas the same acknowledgement and gratitude for his years of service to the citizens of Clarke County, Mississippi.
We congratulate and wish you well on your future endeavors, that will hopefully be filled with new opportunities, relaxation and fulfillment of joy.
