Enterprise Structure Fire Remains Under Investigation

Enterprise Firefighter and Deputy Anthony Chancelor tells CCHT multiple departments responded to the scene of a two story residential fire on County Road 3672 where members of the Enterprise Fire Department were able to make entry to the second floor and save a majority of the structure.

Although the cause of the fire is undetermined at this time, Chancelor appreciates all the mutual aid departments for their response and help at the fire scene which lasted nearly 4 hours.

Responding departments who provided assistance were: Enterprise, Stonewall, Pachuta and Rolling Creek. The Clarke County Sheriff’s Office and EMEPA Power Officials also responded to the scene.

Fire crews were called back to the scene earlier this morning when hot-spots began to blaze back up, however Enterprise and Stonewall Fire Departments were again able to contain the fire.

Deputy Chancelor along with the State Fire Marshall’s Office is currently investigating this fire.

CCHT will post further information pertaining to this call once we have more information available.
