CR 470 Accident Injures Child
CLARKDALE – Emergency Officials recently responded to the scene of a serious one-vehicle accident on County Road 470 in the Clarkdale area. Officials tell CCHT that an 8 year old child was severely injured during the crash.
On scene Firefighters and Emergency Medical Responders called for UMMC AirCare to launch to the scene, however severe weather and lightning permitted the helicopter from flying.
The child was rushed to the hospital by ambulance where the condition is unknown at this time.
Clarkdale Fire & Rescue, Clarke County Sheriff’s Department and Paratech EMS responded to the call.
At last check, the accident was still under investigation.
No names will be released out of respect for all parties involved.
