Highway 18 Accident Injures One

PACHUTA – One person was transported by Paratech EMS to a local hospital for injury evaluation after a 2 car accident on Highway 18 West just outside the Village of Pachuta town limits. One lane of traffic was closed while emergency officials tended to the injured and cleaned up the scene.
Clarke County Sheriff Deputies, Pachuta Volunteer Fire Department and the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to the scene.
No names will be released out of respect for all parties involved.
The injuries involved are said to be non-life threatening. MHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
