On Monday, September 6th, 2021 a security camera captured a man on the front steps of a home on Hickory Street while he was allegedly peeping into windows. Quitman Police was called to the residence to investigate. In the meantime, a video was sent to CCHT and circulated around social media asking for help identifying the man. After an extensive investigation, Jammy Nelson surrendered himself to authorities. He was booked into the Clarke County Jail and went before Municipal Judge Jim Potuk on Thursday, October 7th, 2021 where his bond was set at $10,000. CCHT would like to thank the public who viewed and shared the video several times to help aide in the apprehension of this man.
