STABBING IN STONEWALL
***BREAKING OVERNIGHT***STONEWALL – Law Enforcement Officers responded to the 600 Block of Garner Ave. in Stonewall overnight after it was reported a man showed up on the front porch of his neighbors home covered in blood. Once Officers arrived on scene it was determined that the victim was stabbed and requiring immediate medical attention. This morning, Stonewall Police Chief Kent Stephens tells CCHT; “All I can say is; We have a male subject that has been stabbed multiple times and a female was taken into custody without incident. This is an ongoing, active investigation and being treated as an aggravated domestic violence situation”. Clarke County Sheriff Investigator’s (CID) were called in to assist with the case. Paratech EMS along with Stonewall Fire Department Officials responded to the scene.We will continue following this story and bring any updates as we have them.
***BREAKING NEWS UPDATE*** Last Night’s Stabbing Update:Stonewall Police Chief Kent Stephens tells CCHT that the suspect in this case, Roshunda Riley has been formally charged with aggravated assault domestic violence for stabbing her husband, Dana Riley. Her bond has been set at $25,000. Other charges may be pending upon further investigation. The victim was transported to Rush Hospital and has since been released. More updates will be provided as more information is released.
