Driver Flees from Hwy 11 Accident

Emergency Officials recently responded to the scene of a one vehicle accident on Highway 11 where the driver fled the scene before officers arrived. The accident happened on Highway 11 south of Enterprise but when Enterprise Police Officers and State Troopers with the Mississippi Highway Patrol arrived there was no driver to be found. The driver was reportedly seen walking near K&L Quick Stop in Enterprise a short time later, however he wouldn’t admit to driving the vehicle. Witnesses to the accident provided a detailed description of the driver along with color clothing etc. The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating the crash and the vehicle has been impounded until the driver comes forward to claim possession.

There were no injuries reported.
