Stonewall Police Chief, Kent Stephens talks to CCHT about the recent car burglaries that occurred throughout the town, which has caused an uproar amongst town residents.

Chief Stephens says, two suspects, Mukali Alexzander-Dais Rogers, 18 and Cortrevion Diarrion Archie, 18 were recently arrested and charged for the crimes.

Both individuals went before a Justice Court Judge today where bond has been set at $15,000 each.

According to Stephens, during the investigation, a third suspect has been named of interest and a warrant has been issued for their arrest. (Name is currently pending due to investigation).

Chief Stephens credits the community for their tips along with the use of surveillance cameras throughout the town which aided in the investigation.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in the court of law.
